Food for Allergies

When allergens such as pollen ,plants, grass, dust, and mold find their way to the nose, your body may become allergic to it. Immune cells release histamine or chemicals responsible for allergy symptoms. Sinuses and nasal passages begin to swell and irritation of the nose and throat and sneezing occurs. Many foods can help reduce allergies and calm the immune system.

Oregano, lemon balm, rosemary, and other herbs – Add spices to the food to get many benefits.

Yogurt – the benefits of live bacteria found in yogurt and other fermented products such as kefir help to maintain good bacteria in the stomach.

Sweet potato, leafy vegetables, nuts, and avocado – these foods are rich in vitamin B and vitamin E.

Fatty fish – such as salmon, sardines, tuna, and mackerel are rich in omega 3 fatty acids, which helps reduce inflammation, the direct cause of allergy symptoms.

Garlic – garlic is high in antioxidants for the immune system. Use garlic as a food spice. You can also cut a whole garlic into small pieces and chew or swallow it like a pill every day.

Onion – onions have quercetin, an antioxidant that can help prevent the release of histamine from the body. you can include onions in salads, soups, vegetables and more

Reduce foods such as :

Red wine – some people with allergies may get a headache when drinking red wine, because the skin of the grape has histamine.

Fatty meats – allergy cases are high in people who eat a lot of fat because it contains arachidonic acid, which causes inflammation.
