Types of Headaches

Chemical activity in brain that affects nerves, blood vessels and muscles surrounding the skull sends pain signals to the brain known as the headache. Headache is one of the most common types of pain condition which is present worldwide.

Tension Headache- The feeling of pain sensations around the forehead, sides, and back of the Head and the muscles of the shoulder, neck and scalp region become tense.

Tension headache mostly cause by stress, anxiety, depression and any kind Of head injury or infection.

Migraine  

It is normally starts in forehead and spreads on one side of the head and pain around the eyes, temple region behind the ears sometimes. It is neurological condition that involves different types of symptoms.

The most common symptoms of migraine include nausea, vomiting irritation and sensitivity to light and sounds. Migraine is mostly cause by stress, anxiety and depression. The other factors include lack of sleep, irregular meals, and it can also be inherited from parents through genes.

Sinus Headache

Is painful sensations due to build up of pressure in sinuses of forehead, cheeks and behind the bridge of the nose. Sinuses are the air-filled space becomes inflamed due to excessive mucus production due to infections, allergic reactions.

Cluster Headache

is a sharp burning pain on one side of the head usually around eyes and some times around face and temple regions. The exact causes of cluster headache are mostly unknown and the sudden pain can start without any warning signs and it is mostly seen in men. The factors that can trigger the cluster pain include alcohol intake, exposure to intense light or heat and cigarette smoking. The most common symptoms are pain around eyes, temple and face redness and inflammation of area around the side of eyes affected by this pain.
